Join us on February 18 when Marty Frappolli, Sr. Director of Knowledge Resources at The Institutes, will assess the implications for risk managers as auto liability moves from operator to manufacturer. When 10 of 11 cars are no longer needed and human error is virtually eliminated from vehicle operation, how are the established players in auto manufacturing, insurance, risk management, law enforcement and healthcare affected? We'll examine the likely scenarios and timeframes for this shifting risk landscape.
Marty is Senior Director of Knowledge Resources for The Institutes in Malvern, PA. His responsibilities include providing subject matter expertise on educational content for The Institutes' products and services. He is the primary author for these recent Institutes' textbooks: "Managing Cyber Risk" and "Claims Leadership and Organizational Alignment." He authors several articles each year as a "Risk Insider" for Business Insurance magazine as well as developing podcasts for Claims Journal.
Frappolli earned his bachelor's degree at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, and a master's degree in organizational leadership at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT. Frappolli is past president of the Philadelphia CPCU Society Chapter and served as editor of the quarterly ChapterGram. He serves on the Insurance Data Management Association's (IDMA's) Education Committee and as editor of the IDMQ quarterly newsletter. He has served terms as president of IDMA and as IDMA's chairman of the board.
